Snowboarding Utah

Snowboarding in Utah is a huge sport,  Utah has 14 incredible Utah Snowboard resorts, with the majority located within one hour of the Salt Lake City International Airport. Brian Head, in southern Utah, is just 2.5 hours from Las Vegas. You can arrive in the morning and snowboard in the afternoon.

Amazing snow conditions and awesome backcountry chutes allow many snowboarders to rip up Utah’s extreme terrain. With titles like “snowboarding mecca” and “the capital of snowboarding,” Utah’s resorts and terrain are the place to be.

With possibly one of the biggest snowboarding playgrounds in Utah, Brighton Ski Resort allows riders to soar vertical in freestyle zones or shred the trails on the slopes with the pros. Known as the Capital of Snowboarding, a plethora of tabletops, step-downs, jumps, hips, spines, fun boxes, and rails allow riders to spin, jump, flip or railride through a day (or night) of fun. In constant change, the number of hits are endless and offer riders a new experience each time they visit Brighton. Uncountable numbers of rails has dubbed part of Brighton's terrain park Rail City. With a SuperPipe cut almost on a daily basis, riders soar up to 10 to 12 feet on a 150 to 300 foot pipe.

SLC-UT Summer Time
Salt Lake City, Utah also known as (SLC-UT) or the ever so popular S.L.U.T. regardless of how you spell it SLC is one of a kind. If you are from out of town visiting SLC Utah choosing what time of year to come and visit can be very difficult.
SLC-UT is known for its snow, bringing thousands on top of thousands of SkiersSnowboarders and you defiantly cant miss Snowmobiling in Utah's back country all this is within minutes of SLC Making it a winter sport lover's dream vacation.

The city was founded in 1847 by Brigham Young and his Mormon followers, who extensively irrigated and cultivated the arid valley. Due to its proximity to the Great Salt Lake, the city was originally named "Great Salt Lake City"—the word "great" was dropped from the official name in 1868. Although Salt Lake City is still home to the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), less than half the population of SLC proper is Mormon today.
